Adair County Assessor Kent Bryant Attends Annual MSAA Conference

Adair County Assessor Kent Bryant attended the 2019 Missouri State Assessor Association (MSAA) Conference held September 30- October 3, 2019 in Osage Beach Missouri.

The Missouri State Assessor Association (MSAA) provides annual training and legislative support for 114 Missouri County Assessors (including the City of St. Louis) and their staff. The conference also provides an opportunity for County Assessors to communicate with the Missouri State Tax commission on important assessment related issues.

The annual MSAA conference gave Assessor Bryant the opportunity to meet with other County Assessors whose sole responsibilities are to conduct property assessments.  Property assessments are required by the Missouri Constitution and the MO State Statutes (Revised).

Adair County Assessor Kent Bryant is the former Chief Appraiser for Audrain County.  He spent 7 ½ years commuting to Mexico Missouri working closely with the current Audrain County Assessor Missy Maupin.   Assessor Maupin also currently serves as the President of the MSAA and presided over the Annual conference.

Below Adair County Assessor Kent Bryant was honored to receive his Missouri State Assessor’s pin at the MSAA conference from President Missy Maupin, his former supervisor and mentor.
