Adair County Government is currently seeking a reliable individual for full time employment in the Recorder’s Office for the position of Deputy Recorder . Applicants must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED. Selected applicant must also pass a pre-employment criminal history check.
Duties will include; assisting the County Recorder, Chief Deputy and general public by recording various documents such as deeds, mortgages, surveys, plats, state and federal liens, military discharge records and marriage licenses. Individual must have good customer service skills, the ability to prioritize, be detail oriented, have a positive attitude and be willing to learn. In order to retrieve recorded materials, individual must be able to climb and lift over 40lbs.
