On June 26, 2018 several Adair County Elected Official spent the day in Jefferson City participating in “Government Day” hosted by State Senator Brian Munzlinger (District 18). The day included speakers from the Missouri Department of Economic Development, the Missouri Department of Revenue, the State Treasurer’s Office and the State Attorney General’s Office. These governmental agencies provided information to Adair County officials regarding rural grant opportunities, Missouri’s Sunshine Law updates, sales tax and local use tax items, and a review of recent changes to State Treasurer’s website.
