    Adair County is seeking a reliable individual part-time for the Building and Grounds Department. Crew member will assist the department supervisor in cleaning, maintaining, repairing and the upkeep of county buildings and grounds, including the Courthouse, Annex, rented office spaces, and storage buildings. Individual will help with sheriff’s office and jail, if needed.

    • Pay will start at $15.00 per hour.
    • Part-time positions are ineligible for employment benefits such as health insurance, vacation, sick, and holiday pay.
    • Minimum age requirement: 18
    • Minimum education required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • Driver License: Must Possess a Valid Driver’s License

    Other Requirements: Knowledge of commercial cleaning aspects and the ability to make simple repairs to electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Be able to perform light carpentry tasks and have basic mechanical ability to use hand and small power tools and operate lawn and snow removal equipment.
