Adair County Collector of Revenue

The Adair County Collector is a countywide elected position. The responsibility of the Collector of Revenue is to collect current and delinquent real estate and personal property taxes. In addition, primary tax records are maintained and held for public use within the collector’s office.

Tax bills are usually mailed in late November and are delinquent after December 31st each year.  If you have not received your current year tax bill by December 1st, please contact the Collector’s office regarding your current tax status.

Please note: In Missouri you must provide your paid personal property tax receipt (issued by the Collector) to the Missouri Department of Revenue in order to license your motor vehicle(s). You are required to submit the previous year’s receipt for 1 year renewals or a receipt for the last 2 years for a 2 year renewal.
